What is the service like?
Although we take the worship of God seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We think you will find a welcoming, friendly group of people that will allow you to enjoy the service at your level of comfort. There will be no expectations of you (no “visitors stand up”) and there is no need to give when we take the offering. The main two elements of a Sunday service are singing and teaching. The service lasts about an hour and 15 minutes so you should still get out in plenty of time for lunch!
Will I like the music?
We hope so! We include a wide range of musical styles in our worship time with both contemporary songs and older hymns. Our worship team tries hard to choose music that ties to the message theme and presents them in ways that will help you focus toward God.
What do I wear?
We believe that God cares more about what is in our hearts than the clothes we wear (1 Samuel 16:7). There certainly is no dress code. Feel free to dress comfortably – most do.
What about my kids?
We have a staffed nursery during the morning services for babies up through 4 year olds. Kids (up to 3rd grade) begin in the morning service and then are dismissed right before the the sermon time for a special Children’s Church program designed just for them.
