Join Matt & Lauren for the Mingling of Souls Simulcast focused on building healthy relationships in marriage. As Matt & Lauren cover topics such as attraction, romance, friendship, and fighting fair, couples will discover God’s good design for love, marriage, sex, and redemption.

Attraction & Character
Attraction is almost always the initial draw in any relationship. There is nothing wrong with this, attraction is a part of God’s good design! However, more important than attraction is what is underneath. Similar to not wanting to buy a car with a beautiful exterior and a bad engine, we hope to get under the hood, and help you do some needed repairs in order for your marriage to be healthy.
Wedding Bells & Sex
Marriage and sex are some of the most amazing gifts that God has given to us. However, what is often missed is the real intent behind all of this, which is that we might know and grasp God’s love, pursuit, and romance of us despite being people who prefer what has been created over our Creator. We hope to walk you through how your understanding of the purpose behind marriage and sex directly affects your relationship with your spouse and the enjoyment of these gifts.

Fighting Fair & Growing in Grace
Twenty percent of the Song of Solomon is on conflict. 20%! That’s huge. In fact, the Song of Solomon speaks more about conflict than it does sex. In marriage, the reality is that you will fight and have conflict with your spouse. You will be the one to be hurt, and you will be the one doing the hurting at times. The question is, how do you extend grace towards your spouse amidst the conflicts of life? We’re thankful that God has not left us wondering and look forward to walking you through how to fight fair.
Romance & Legacy
All of us want marriages that are vibrant and faithful to the very end. We have that picturesque view of ourselves and our spouses in old age, still deeply in love, still liking one another. But how do we get there? What can we do to ensure our marriages are faithful and vibrant to the end? Whether you have been married 3 months or over 50 years, we’re excited to walk you through what the scriptures have to say.
